Ugur Duman - Founder & Operations Director
Born in Munich/Germany in 1968, Ugur graduated at Ege University in German Language and Literature, before becoming a professional tour guide in 1991. He worked as a German and English speaking tour guide for many years within, both European and American tourist groups. Later in 1993, Ugur established a tourism agency, where he refined his agency organization skills and continued tour guiding. In addition he has set up a real estate investment business, which is focused on European market. Currently, he is the Operation Director of Magical Steps Travel. Ugur is based at the Kusadasi offices in Turkey.

Merih Ilk - Founder & Marketing Director
Merih was born in Ankara in 1970, after graduating from Istanbul Technical University as a Civil Engineer in 1991, he took the helm of the family owned Construction and Investment Company, as the second generation of family leadership. He made his first tourism investment in 1995. Kusadasi is a very important, internationally known tourism centre, which has meant Merih has always been in touch with the tourism sector. He co-founded Magical Steps Travel and is one of the board members, Board Chairman and the Marketing Director of Magical Steps Travel. Merih is based at the Kusadasi offices in Turkey.

Gonca Ilk - Founder & International Relations and Reservation Department Manager
She has a BA in English Language & Literature and graduated from Selcuk University in 2004. She worked as a qualified real estate agent for 3 years. After working as a Branch Manager for a real estate company for 2 years, she worked for a Turkish - Dutch Construction & Investment Company as a Sales Manager. She is the International Relations and Reservation Department Manager of Magical Steps Travel. Gonca is based at the Kusadasi offices in Turkey.

Gilbert(Budd) Friend-Jones - Consultant
As a parish pastor, Budd is devoted to interfaith cooperation and education. He has led interfaith and Christian pilgrimages to Spain, Morocco and Turkey. He is a minister in the United Church of Christ and an Oblate of the Order of St Benedict. He has served parishes in Illinois, Georgia, Minnesota, Virginia, Maine and New Jersey. His earned his doctorate at the Divinity School of Howard University, his Masters at Princeton Theological Seminary and his undergraduate degree at Frostburg State University. He lives in the Chicago area.

Behlul Dundar - Tour Guide
Born in Amasya, a beautiful city near the Black Sea cost of Turkey, but raised in Izmir. Completed his education at various universities around the country studying English Literature and Classical Archeology. Working as a licensed guide and lecturer since 1996. Guided hundreds of groups of Biblical, Archeological, Cultural Learning and Discoveries Tours . Also writes literary essays, book reviews for the well-known magazines and national newspapers.

Ilker Avci - Tour Guide
I was born in Tatvan in 1976, close to mystical Mount Ararat. I studied English language teaching and history at Dokuz Eylul University in Izmir. I applied to be an official tour guide and have been guiding since 1997. In addition to long Turkish history, I have been studying guiding in neighboring countries which definitely have similar cultural background as Turkey. Greece, Syria, Lebanon and the Holy Lands are also in my trip planning and touring interest. I live in Kusadasi.

Suleyman Tirasoglu - Tour Guide
I was born in Antalya in 1971. When I graduated from Eskisehir University, I taught English for some time, but eventually went into tourism because I love to travel and it gave me a better opportunity. I moved to Izmir and got my guiding license from the Tourism Ministry in 1997 after successfully completing the professional tourist guide course there. My first job as a guide was in Cappadocia, an interesting region of central Anatolia. I also began to guide in other regions of Turkey. I moved to Istanbul in 2000. I strolled through Istanbul street by street and also completed my knowledge by traveling extensively all over Turkey on research.

I graduated from Selcuk University, Tour Guiding department in 2009 and on the same year got my guiding license from The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. I have been guiding for 3 years.
