Turkey had been waiting for 21 year to for Ephesus Ancient City to be added to UNESCO World Heritage List. Finally it is announced that Ephesus had been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List as the 15th Ancient City.

Ephesus has 9.000 years of history starting from prehistory and including Hellenistic Age, Roman Period, Byzantium Time and Ottoman Period. Ephesus is one of the biggest ancient city in the World and is visited by 2.000.000 people from all over the World every year.
