We will pick you up from Istanbul Port or your hotel. You will enjoy an extensive tour of Istanbul, formerly known as Constantinople. Istanbul was the capital of three great empires and is the only city in the world located on two continents. First, you will enjoy a Bosphorus cruise. From the water, you will see Dolmabahce Palace, Ciragan Palace, Rumeli Fortress, the parks and imperial pavilions of Yildiz Palace, and Ortakoy. Next, you will visit Chora Church, originally built outside the walls of Constantinople, south of the Golden Horn. It is famous for its beautiful Byzantine mosaics and frescoes. In the afternoon, we will visit the magnificent Suleymaniye Mosque, built in the 16th century by order of Sultan Suleyman the Magnificent and designed by the famous Ottoman architect Sinan. Finally, you will visit the Spice Bazaar, built in 1660 and still one of the most famous places in Istanbul for spices, Turkish sweets, dried fruits, and local products.
